I was born with unusually thin wrists, which makes it hard for me to find the right watch or bracelet that has a nice fit. The bracelet of my metal watches is usually repaired and customized to have few of the links cut, and bracelets which are not adjustable fall off my hand. This is one of the reasons why I prefer wearing necklaces, rings, or earrings rather than bracelets. However, bracelets are very chic and fashionable and there are a lot of times when I want to accessorize my outfit with bangles or charms to achieve a fabulous look. I sometimes purchase adjustable bangles, but there are times that I want to wear normal chain bracelets for a polished, classic look.

My husband gave me a gold Italian charm bracelet for my birthday, and it has different charms attached on it. The chain is narrower than the usual charm bracelets, which makes it very feminine and delicate. It also goes well with my thin wrists. Knowing the wrist size, he had it customized by having the bracelet shortened; a few of the links were cut. As a result, it has a perfect fit and doesn’t fall off my hand.

I wear my gold charm bracelet often because aside from the sophisticated look it gives my outfit; it symbolizes something special between me and my husband.
